It is hard to put into the words how incredible our wedding day on the 6th of September was from start to finish. Fernhill exceeded all of our expectations. There was never a question that couldn’t be answered and they went above and beyond for us in every way. So many of our guests have contacted us and our parents to let them know how amazing the grounds were, the service and the food. We had around 298 guests and everyone is raving about the service and how well they handled that number. For me I took note of how happy and easygoing the staff were. That to me is sure a sign the staff are well looked after in Fernhill which is vital in my eyes. Laura and Ann were incredible to deal with and I will never be able to thank them enough. The drinks reception was incredible, the gardens are to die for and the buggies up and down from the marquee to the hotel were a lovely touch. I still cannot believe we got to get married in such an amazing venue. The most asked question is how did you guys know about Fernhill house? The answer is we got very lucky to have heard about it. It’s a fairytale of a hotel. So many guests also mentioned it was the nicest food they’ve had at a wedding. You also meet the O’Neill family at different stages throughout the day and night, they are lovely lovely people. The bar man at the residence bar sang into the early hours with us, again incredible staff and they should be reminded of it on a daily, no doubt they are.

Thank you so much to Fernhill for what was an epic wedding weekend. We had such a wonderful day on Saturday. You made it so easy for us to relax and enjoy our day with our family and friends. Brittany and I live in Canada, so our wedding planning was primarily done from overseas. This could've been extremely difficult, stressful and/or tiresome... but from day one, the Fernhill made it not only easy but very enjoyable as well.
