Explore Clonakilty

Walking

Clonakilty area has a lot of walking experiences to offer. Why not take a stroll around the Seven Heads walk or out to see the Galley Head or Castlefreke. 

Explore the ruins of Rathbarry church or climb to the highest local point Carrigfadda to see the magnificent view over West Cork.

The Lough Hyne loop walk provides glorious views over the sea on a clear day.

Further west Glengarriff Nature Reserve provides many walks in beautiful woodland scenery.

The hotel's staff were very welcoming. Fabulous location overlooking Clonakilty from the west. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very relaxing. The food was delicious and everything homemade. A great hotel to chill-out in.
