The
Old Head Golf Links Kinsale occupies a unique headland which reaches out over the Atlantic Ocean for two miles the golf course is built on a 220-acre diamond of land.
The links and practice area occupy 180 acres and the remaining 40 acres of unspoilt cliff (rising in places to over 300 feet) frame the course. Old Head, par 72, comprises five Par 5s, five Par 3s and eight Par 4s – stretching to over 7,200 yards from the tips with a minimum of six tees per hole.32
The Lisselan Golf Club is one of the most challenging and picturesque Irish golf courses to play. Lisselan is a parkland course located just outside Clonakilty town centre, it is a nine-hole golf course set on 80 acres of land. It is a beautiful course surrounded by mature woodlands and the Aeigideen river flowing through it.
The course has been open since 1994 but was exclusive for the first ten years. It gained so much international acclaim with golf travel writers, sporting personalities they decided to make the course public. The golf course is now open for all seven days a week.
The par 72 layout for Ladies consists of 4 par 5, 4 par 3 and 10 par 4.
The par 73 layout for Gents consists of 5 par 5, 4 par 3 and 9 par 4 holes.
