West Cork is truly the garden paradise of Ireland, bathed as it is in the Gulf Stream which enables luxuriant sub-tropical growth of a kind associated with much lower latitudes. The gardens on the trail are wonderful, diverse, healing and tranquil.

The gardens are growing strength to strength from year to year there is currently 25 gardens in the trail. These gardens range from large gardens as part of a stately home to smaller private gems.

We are delighted to have our garden featured in the West Cork Garden Trail. We provide both history and foraging tours of the gardens upon request.

The hotel's staff were very welcoming. Fabulous location overlooking Clonakilty from the west. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very relaxing. The food was delicious and everything homemade. A great hotel to chill-out in.
